Triangle Pose is a staple in most vinyasa classes, so it’s important to find the correct alignment and make sure you’re getting the most out of the pose. Besides stretching the hips, legs, spine and side body, it also fires up the core and acts as an awesome stress-reliever (many of us carry tension in our hips, neck and shoulders, so opening and extending these areas can be a game-changer). Be sure and use a block if you can’t reach the floor without rolling your hips forward, and, if you have neck problems, don’t crane it—just look straight ahead.
